1. Technical challenge: A corset
Rank #1
Winner: Lia
I was totally excited to see the corset on the mannequin. I have craved to do a corset for a long long time. But i knew it is not easy, especially for pattern making. I was so so happy to do this. My first corset ever!!!!
I completely focused on reading instruction and making it step by step carefully. I was so into it. First time for ever, I was so confident to make it ON TIME!!!!
and I WON this!!!! reallyyyyyyyy!!!! surprised!!!!! amazing amazing!!!!
2. Upcycling challenge: Wedding Dress
Eliminated: Alessandra
This is I never told anyone before, I was shaking and emotional when I saw all of wedding dresses because I knew my wedding is coming soon in next 2 months.
OMG! seriously!!! i never want to destroy all of them. They are absolutely gorgeous. Yes, it is old but vintage. For a wedding dress, there are so many layers of fabrics and it is constructed. It took so long for tailor to finish it and now I have to destroy it.
So i was thinking of making sexy backless dress with a puffed structure on the front. I definitely had to use the sequin part which is the most beautiful thing from dress. And I wanted something contrast like everything is too elegant for me, so rough cutting edges or unfinished edge.
And the elimination part is a surprise. OMG!! OMG!! OMGG!!!!
3. Misura challenge: Red Carpet
I was scared like hell, honestly. I never ever did a red carpet look before. For me Red Carpet is something coutures in details and clean finishing.
Massimo Cantini Parrini is the final guest. I was totally impressed and agreed what he said “Red Carpet dres: Gusto, Glamour, Chic and Shock”. I was aware of that I was struggling specially under 5 hours. My body was shaking all the time. I was not totally confident at all just thinking Red Carpet required impressive design and high precised detailed sewn.
YESS!!! GIANLUCA is the WINNER!!! he is deserved it. From the beginning first episode, I knew it will be him. He is fast, precise and has lots of experiences in tailor field. CONGRATULATION!!!!
It was a long journey for me. It was so beautiful too.
