SUKEBAN was a group of Japanese gang girls inspired by Basozuku, a Japanese Motorcycle subcultures in 1950s. They were strongly against the sexual restriction and discrimination from the society where women were not allow to do different things as men. They turned the school-girl and biker uniforms into a symbol of their rebellion by rolling the sleeves, dying brightly hair, carrying razor blades. This collection retraces the image of a school girl with strong rebellious spirits.
